This is a version of the K'BEEP using only the famous Ricochet sound. Each effect is selectable. You can get the keyup Ricochet or the Roger Beep Ricochet or both. The RIC'RIC is a one tone end of transmission tone burst encoder. It is complete with cabling and heatshrink for securing connections. A feature of the RIC'RIC is the wiring cable. Computer type IDC ribbom cable is used. This enhances troubleshooting the device and allows the technician to remove the unit for modification of the tones without unwiring the unit.
An amazing feature is the Ricochet sound. This sound is produced when the Mic is keyed and gives the CB a unique sound. The ZZzziiiinnnngggg sounds lasts for about 1 second, gradually fading out. This sound is also produced when the user unkeys. An adjustment is provided to get all or part of the Ricochet sound when the unit is unkeyed. Ricochet is fast becoming a well known identifier when traffic is heavy on the band. The user is quickly picked out from among hundreds of others.
